This guide documents 368 species of birds that have been identified in Westchester County, New York. It is a compilation of other checklists and rare bird reports.
The names of the birds and their taxonomic arrangement in this guide follow that of the 7th Edition of the American Ornithologists' Union Check-list of North American Birds (1998) and its supplements (42nd -53rd,July 2012).
