Blue Mountain Reservation, Cortlandt
A county park consisting of 1,583 Acres. The park is mainly used by mountain bikers and has over 7 miles of trails. There are two mountains here, the Spitzenberg and Blue Mountain. The property was originally part of Van Cortlandt Manor purchased by Stephanus Van Cortlandt in 1677 from the Indians. Entance fee. Park pass reduces fee (914) 737-2194
Directions: Route 9 north or south to Peekskil, Welcher Avenue
exit; follow east to Park entrance
