We connect people to nature. We are a chapter of the National Audubon Society based in southwestern Westchester County, NY. We offer guided field trips; nature walks; feeder and hawk watches, educational programs. At Lenoir Nature Preserve, Yonkers, we have a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden.

We are an all-volunteer organization. All our activities are free, thanks to volunteers and supporters. You can help us by donating via PayPal.

Hawk Watch starts in September, FeederWatch in November; our monthly evening nature programs also starts in September. We’ll have bird walks and more nature walks.

Our Butterfly & Hummingbird Garden at Lenoir is in full bloom and abounds with butterflies and other pollinators; come visit. We will have a Volunteer Day in the Garden in August. Check back here for the date or sign up with Garden Chairman James Judy to be notified. You’ll work with our team; no experience necessary. You are welcome to stay for as many hours as you’d like. We start at 8 AM, work until 1 PM. The Garden is located in the middle of Lenoir Nature Center, 19 Dudley St, Yonkers. There’s a map at the entrance to the parking lot at 19 Dudley Street.
